Why choose a Wellness Coach? Because the most affordable Health Care is staying healthy...

Do you spend time thinking about all of the things you “should” be doing to be healthier? Do you start diets and workout regimens and, after a time, find yourself straying from your good intentions? Do you want to achieve permanent success in health through better eating habits, exercise or overall health but don’t seem to know the “magic formula?”  If so, read on. Having your own, personal Wellcoach, may be for you.

These days, health care is on everyone’s mind. While there are many viewpoints on the best way to get medical coverage, it is inarguable that the number one way to reduce your healthcare costs is to be healthy!

It is easy to understand that being a master of our own wellness - fitness, weight, eating habits and stress - is the key to achieving this state of optimal health, yet, despite this knowledge, creating our own good health and healthy habits can seem very elusive.

We all have some idea of what we “should do.” We should eat well, exercise and relax more, but doing it is another matter all together. This is where I, as your coach, come in.

I will:

  1. Help you identify a vision for your wellness that has personal meaning to you, and then help you get there.

  2. Partner with you to identify the healthy habits you would like to be doing consistently which will lead you towards your goals.

  3. Help you tackle overwhelming aspects of your life to find a healthier lifestyle that you can realistically maintain for the rest of your life.

  4. Help you break down this larger vision into a step by step approach of doable, realistic, smaller weekly goals that fit into a hectic life.

  5. Provide structure, accountability and expert advice when you need it during weekly, bi-weekly or monthly sessions.

  6. Be a witness and cheerleader to your successes.

Want to know more about your coach? Read my story:

I am the bookworm yet out going and over-dramatic daughter of Rev. Ronald Ingalls, former high school philosophy teacher and Married Catholic Priest. As you might imagine, as a child of a revolutionary spirit, I was encouraged to question everything, read everything and stand up for what I believe in. Then, being progressive, my parents insanely agreed to let me go to college for acting. My interest in fitness, nutrition and wellness began just after graduation, as I was starting my career as a live performer. I had been a yo-yo dieter since the age of 14 and suddenly found myself trying to “make it” in a very image conscious world. While many of my classmates went to New York and LA, I didn’t feel I was the right “type” for anything in my age range. I felt intimidated; too fat to be an “ingenue,” and too thin to be the “plus-size funny friend.” I moved to Washington, DC, where the theater community is small enough that I felt I’d at least be able to rely on my talent to get work. It was here that I began to work with a Wellness Coach. What began as a journey to gain control over my weight became a life-changing revelation - I was normal. I was beautiful! I shouldn’t have to feel intimidated by the images the media feeds to me day after day, nor should I feel boxed out of my own industry for being normal and healthy. This inspired me to begin True Belle, my beauty revolution.
